BLUEBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES , EVERYWHERE

This is Rollie and Glenda Lemon who are with us for the next 4 weeks with wonderful Blueberries. These berries come from Triple Creek Farms in Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia. The Farm is owned by Gail and Ross Benison.

Over the years they have had a dairy farm and presently raise beef cattle. They have grown blueberries for a number of years but decided to expand this year to sell clean boxed berries in 5 and 10 pound boxes. They now have their own cleaning shed and have 6 employees cleaning and boxing berries.

They usually sell from the farm but thought they would expand their business by trying some markets this season. This is why then ended up at the Pictou County Weekend Market.

They have had good success on their first weekend and are expecting a great range of sales over the next few weeks.

Glenda and Rollie have fit right into the Market setting . They are delightful to work with.
